Private residence, built about 1728 by William Harvey. This house was leased in 1750 by his Excellency James Glenn, Governor of the Province untill purchased in 1756 by Ralph Izard, planter. A century later, 1858, Izard's descendants sold it to Judge Mitchell King in whose family it remained untill 1977.
