Artist: John Hood. Assisted By: Alexandra Hood. This 400 square metre mural was commissioned by The Toronto Sun on November 1st, 1991 on the occasion of our 20th Birthday. It commemorates the 200th Anniversary of the Town of York, named by Governor John Graves Simcoe on August 26th, 1793. The mural was unveiled on September 12, 1993.
