April 28 Day of Mourning Plaque, erected in 2001 in a joint program between Worksafe BC, the BC Federation of Labour and the BC Business Council. The National Day of Mourning is observed in Canada on 28 April. It commemorates workers who have been killed, injured or suffered illness due to workplace related hazards and incidents.The plaque is located on the Columbarium (right wall outside), Wild Rose Lane, Armstrong/Spallumcheen Cemetery.
