Founded, 1687. Father Agustin de la Magdalena, first curate. Original chapel of bamboo and nipa reconstructed, 1690, under the direction of Miguel Guan-co and Alguacil Mayor Alonso Garcia. Improved, 1853 by Fr. Joaquin de Coria. Transept added, 1872 by Fr. Serafin Linares and Fr. Cipriano Bac. Damaged during World War II.
