Carl Wark information plaque

Fortunately this old plaque has not been stolen by metal thieves. It is affixed to one of the many millstone boulders in the area - very close to the hill fort's western wall. The attractive but dated font selected by Sheffield City Council suggests that the plaque may have been sited here before World War Two.
