I first encountered this plaque while waiting to board a Bolt Bus. It was the first death plaque I had ever encountered. I loved it because of the lack of detail. At the time I pictured him dying on the street in that exact location where I happened to be standing. I later realized that it could mean that he died in the building. Anyway – I never looked it up – instead taking the plaque at its word.
Here died, on January 7, 1943.
