This plaque on the wall of the NG1749 : Glendale Community Hall commemorates the Glendale bards: Donald MacLeod (Dòmhnall nan Òran) and his sons Neil and "Black John". A new edition of songs and poems by the three bards, edited with notes and translations by Meg Bateman and Anne Loughran, was published by John Donald in 2014.
