-- REYNOLDS PARK --
This 1,100 acre open space park was acquired by the Jefferson County Open Space Program on May 28, 1975, from Mrs. Eva Dell Reynolds. Mrs. Reynolds gave a substantial portion of this park to Jefferson County in memory of her husband, John A. Reynolds.
This area was one of the first to be settled in Colorado. The Reynolds family operated this area as Idylease Dude Ranch from 1913 to 1942. It was later used as a successful cattle ranch.
Reynolds Park contains many species of wildlife and plant life that when carefully observed will enhance your visit and increase your enjoyment.
Take only memories, leave only footprints.
