Plaque on English Bridge

Another photo of the plaque on the north side of English Bridge that benefits from it being a sunny day. The plaque states: THE ENGLISH BRIDGE WAS BVILT IN 1768-1774 ON THE SITE OF AN EARLIER BRIDGE IN 1925-27 IT WAS TAKEN DOWN AND COMPLETELY REBVILT, ITS STEEP GRADIENT HALVED, ITS WIDTH INCREASED BY 26½ FEET AND EVERY SOVND STONE IN THE ORIGINAL STRVCTVRE REVSED. THE BRIDGE WAS OPENED BY HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN ON THE 13TH AVGVST 1927
