Interpretive panel and memorial plaque by the Millennium Stone, Hedley-on-the-Hill

Recording historical details of the village, and with an orientation diagram. Some of the distant sights are a bit optimistic - and not just the obvious ones like Oslo and New York. The Lynemouth aluminium smelter might have been visible in AD 2000, but the view in that direction is now completely obscured by a plantation of trees.
