Plaque on one of the huge rock formations at Garden Of The Gods, the popular tourist attraction in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The plaque acknowledges that, at one time, this free, public, natural wonder was once “owned” by an individual. Plaque reads: “The Garden Of The Gods. Given to the City of Colorado Springs in 1909 by the children of Charles Elliott Perkins in fulfillment of his wish that it be kept forever free to the public.”
