The Forest Workers Memorial Park was built by the Cowichan Lake Community Forest Cooperative in 2007 to honour all forestry workers, including those who worked on the railway, in the Cowichan Lake area.Local shrubbery and three yellow cedar carvings depicting different aspects of the forest industry with benches surround the memorial bricks and fountain.Special coloured bricks denote a person who died while on the job. It is the site of the Town's April 28 Day of Mourning observations.
