Crescent Furniture Building

These terra cotta panels are from the Crescent Furniture Company building which was located on the north-east corner of Portage Avenue and Vaughan Street. The two storey retail building was built for Aronovitch and Leipsic by contractors W.A. Irish and Company. Winnipeg architects Edward Parkinson and James Halley designed these exterior panels that were manufactured by the Midland Terra Cotta Company of Chicago. the building was demolished in 1985.
