This small plaque on the viaduct carrying the railway lines into Manchester over Chapelfield Road SJ8597 : Chapelfield Road shows it be the work of Andrew Handyside, whose iron foundry output ranged from fountains SK3534 : The fountain in the Derby Arboretum to railway bridges SK3436 : Friargate Railway Bridge. He produced lamp posts J3473 : Victorian lampposts, Belfast for the new gas street lighting and was one of the first to produce the new standard Post Office letterboxes J5081 : Victorian postbox, Bangor.
