As well as the re-establishment of the trig pillar on Divis J2875 : Divis Triangulation Pillar, in May 2013 this small circular commemorative disc was placed on the summit. Made of conical metal and set in concrete at surface level, it simply states "Ordnance Survey Primary Triangulation Point - Divis 1825" with a small modern survey bolt in the centre. It was at this spot in 1825 that the first primary triangulation of Ireland began with connections made to Knocklayd and Slieve Snaght. See also J2875 : The Divis Primary Triangulation Point.
