It reads: Barður Snæfellsás Erected in memory of our brother, Trausti Jónsson, born March (?) 13 1909, D December 16, 1928 and our parents Guðrun Sigtryggsdóttir, born (?) 1878 and died February 18, 1841 and Jón Sigurðsson, born August 17, 1876, died May 25, 1956 Haraldur Jónsson and siblings rock (?)
