Sundance Canyon

Sundance Canyon

Sundance Canyon has eroded down a soft layer of rock which dips sharply to the west. Large boulders have been toppled into the stream by the undercutting action of the water creating the series of cascades. In distant times, a large river flowed out of Sundance, but recent glacial action has diverted the upper drainage into the spray river system.
