Rotary Centennial Sculpture

honors Rotary International’s commitment to the children of the world as exemplified by three outstanding Rotary District 6780 leaders, William T. Sergeant, who headed Rotary’s global polio eradication campaign, and past Rotary International presidents presidents James Bomar and James Lacy who championed serving all children. These three Tennesseans are global volunteer leaders who personify Rotary International’s motto,
Service above self.
Presented to the city of Knoxville on April 22, 2005 to inspire future generations to make their lives make a difference.
