Point Reyes Station Commons

A very simple plaque commemorating the work of a local author and economist, the late Jonathan Rowe. He wrote about the importance of the commons for the prosperity of societies, about wealth inequality, and analyzed the dysfunctional workings of the U.S. economy.

The plaque, placed in a town commons he helped create in the West Marin town of Point Reyes Station, reads:

"In honor of Jonathan Rowe, his writings, his life, his work for the commons."
