The Golden Taps ceremony
honors students who pass away
while enrolled at Purdue.
Their families receive a
golden replica of the
Unfinished Block P sculpture
representing the student's
unfinished journey.
Purdue University is ever grateful to
David and Nancy Sebastian for establishing the
Unfinished Block P Endowment in memory of
Rex A. ('51) and Dorothy B. ('51) Sebastian.
Rex and Dorothy were longtime benefactors of
Purdue, supporting projects including the
Unfinished Block P sculpture.
