To Commemorate the Destruction of Newtown, Cardif
This plaque contains part of a poem written by a former resident of the Newtown district of central Cardiff, reflecting on its demolition. A working class neighbourhood close to the docks and city centre, it was demolished to allow redevelopment of the area with office space the primary outcome.
