Thomas Yoseloff Thomas Yoseloff (1913-2007) was a noted publisher, author, journalist, and scholar. Born in lowa, he came to New York City in 1935 to seek his fortune and began a nearly 70-year career in book publishing. He quickly became the owner or founder of several trade imprints in the United States and Great Britain, including A.S. Barnes and Company and the Golden Cockerel Press, earning the nickname "the Boy Wonder of publishing." Yoseloff published a distinguished list of titles in history, art, literature, sports, and Judaica. Later in life, he started Associated University Presses, a consortium of small- and medium-sized scholarly presses that resulted in the publication of more than 4,000 titles. Submitted by @lampbane
