The following text is included in the description: This quay saw majestic ships berthed and unloading their precious cargoes. They would take on stones and boulders as ballast for their outward journeys with empty holds. The Town Hall built in 1874 was once the office of the Cork Harbour Commissioners. The establishment nearby has served beer since 1885
