Overseer's House
OVERSEER'S HOUSE
Built in 1889
This house was provided for the
overseer of the 560-acre A. B. Howell
Peach Orchard. William Morgan and
William and Evan Hale were over-
seers. The house has been occupied
by the McGraw, Schmohl and Taylor
families; and was placed on the
Alabama Register of Landmarks and
Heritage in 2000.
