OLYMPIC MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
Olympic Memorial Hospital is located on property that was originally set aside
for hospital purposes by President Abraham Lincoln on June 10, 1862
The land-was officially granted for a hospital by President Harry S. Truman in 1948.
The Hospital building was erected by the citizens of Clallam County as a
memorial to all those who served in the armed forces of the United States
and was dedicated in November of 1951 as a community hospital
"existing to serve us for recovery and comfort in illness.
