Martin Luther King, Jr. Residence
During Dr. M. L. King, Jr's pastorate at
the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church, the small
crater nearby marks the spot where a bomb
exploded on the evening of 31 January 1956.
Coretta S. King, 10 week old Yolanda Denise
and Dexter member, Mary Lucy Williams, were
in the house. None were hurt.
