LES PRINCE HALL
This residence was opened in 2006 and bears the name of Leslie A. Prince, a dedicated teacher, coach and administrator. Between his arrival on campus in 1946 and his retirement in 1980, Les Prince served McMaster in a variety of roles including Assistant Director of Athletics, varsity coach, Director of Athletics, Dean of Men and Dean of Students.
He was a long-serving Hall Master in Student Housing, living with his family on-campus until after his retirement.
In 1990, he received McMaster’s highest distinction, an honorary degree. Generations of McMaster students, faculty, staff and alumni will forever associate Les Prince with students, residence life and athletics.
