Latin plaque above St Mary's south door

The plaque above the door reads: AEDEM.B.MARIAE ANTIQVITVS.CISTERCIENSIVM.AEVI INIVRIA.CORRVPTAM.PLERIQVE.TAM CIVES.QVAM.EXTERI.CONLATA.PECVNIA OPERE.ET.CVLTV.SPECTABILI RESTITVERVNT.ANNO.MDCCCL I can't translate the Latin, but the date, 'MDCCCL' is 1850.
