FORMER SITE OF FINN HALL TYÖVÄENYHDISTYS IMATRA Worker's Association Imatra The FINNISH AID SOCIETY IMATRA was formed in 1891 as a cooperative association by the first Finnish immigrants arriving from Finland who settled in Sunset Park. The IMATRA HALL was built in 1907 by the Finnish carpenters for the Finnish families which predominated this neighborhood, referred to as FINNTOWN. In 1997 the building was sold to the Resurrection Church, who maintained the building in its original structure except for the façade in the front. Contributed by @lampbane
