In 2010 the BC Labour Heritage Centre partnered with the Vancouver Convention Centre on a series of plaques telling stories of working peoples' history in the province.This plaque explains the story of men from the Squamish nation who have worked as longshoremen in Burrard Inlet since the 1860s.
