"In 2010 the BC Labour Heritage Centre partnered with the Vancouver Convention Centre on a series of plaques telling stories of working peoples' history in the province. This plaque describes the Operation Solidarity movement that swept the province in 1983 after the provincial government tabled a breathtaking series of 26 bills slashing social services, public schools, and the rights of trade unions. This plaque is located on the interior walls of Convention Centre West. The interior plaques are subject to security policies of the convention centre. Details on touring the plaques can be found here: http://www.vancouverconventioncentre.com/visiting/public-tours "
