Church of St John the Evangelist was here
On this place stood a church in the name of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian at the city orphanage named after Countess O.V. Kutaisova.
It was built in 1903 according to the project of architect D.A. Werner at the expense of honourable citizen M.A. Zaitsev.
It was consecrated at the service of the Holy Righteous John of Krondschatdt.
Destroyed in the 1930s.
