Central Railroad and Bank Building
Georgia Historical Society records show that this building, built in 1853 for the Central Railroad & Bank was confiscated by General WM. T. Sherman’s union Army forces as the military headquarters of the post commandant, General J.W. Geary during the occupation of Savannah.
