Bristol & South Wales Union Railway
The plaque marks the location of the terminal pier of the Bristol & South Wales Union Railway where passengers from Bristol would board the ferry to Portskewett in Wales. There is also a plaque about John and Charles Wesley, founders of Methodism, who crossed the River Severn by this means. Submitted by: Alistair Wylie
