In 2010 the BC Labour Heritage Centre partnered with the Vancouver Convention Centre on a series of plaques telling stories of working peoples' history in the province.Tom McGrath was an important figure in BC's labour movement, working to ensure safe working conditions. This plaque is located on the interior walls of Convention Centre West. The interior plaques are subject to security policies of the convention centre.
