St George’s Day

I’m spending a year in Belgium, and reading every Plaque I can find. This massive memorial looks out over a public beach, but is nearly unseen by the crowd. I can’t say much about the battle, but Wikipedia provides detail. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeebrugge_Raid
