Post Office window

The window of the Post Office on Vaughn Street reflects the buildings opposite. In the wall below the window is a plaque which reads: George Alfred Humphreys 1865 - 1948 Asiant a phensaer i deulu Mostyn. Fe'i penodwyd yn Prif Asiant ystad Mostyn ym 1920. Cynlluniodd lawer o adeiladau lleol, yn cynnwys y Swyddfa Bost. Bu'n archeolegydd a hanesydd amatur cynnar. Agent and architect to Mostyn family. Appointed Chief Agent to Mostyn Estate in 1920. Designed many local buildings, including Post Office. Early amateur archaeologist and historian.
