Drafted at age of 21 at Richmond, Macomb County, Michigan.
Buried at Abbeyville, Georgia, remains removed to National Cemetery,
Andersonville, Georgia, grave no. 13,697.
They died bravely in line of duty, mistakenly shot by friendly
Wisconsin cavalrymen.
