Inscriptions in the windbreak at Horden Grassland Nature Reserve

In a gap in the back wall of the bench recently installed on the England Coast Path NZ4442 : Bench and windbreak on the England Coast Path at Horden, reminiscences of some local people have been inscribed on plaques of slate. "We made our own black pudding and Dad made a football out of a pig's bladder" "All in together girls, never mind the weather girls, when I count to twenty the rope shall be empty" "We played hopscotch with our itchy dabbers - mine was a shoe polish tin filled with sand"
