DUTCH REFORMED CHURCH OF FLATLANDS
CONSTRUCTED IN 1848 IN LATE FEDERAL STYLE, THIS EDIFICE OCCUPIES THE SITE OF THE ORIGINAL OCTAGONAL SHINGLED CHURCH BUILT IN 1663 AND REBUILT IN 1794. THE CONGREGATION WAS FORMED IN 1654 BY THE REV. JOHANNES MEGAPOLENSIS, PASTOR OF THE COLLEGIATE CHURCH.
