Burke And Wills Explorers

This just goes to show that no matter how bad you fail there's still a chance of getting a statue.

It's worth having a look at the website just to see the rediculous stuff they took with them.   http://www.burkeandwills.net.au/index.php

The plaque reads:

Main:  'Robert Ohara Burke and William John Wills Leaders of The Victorian Exploration Expedition'

Middle 'First to cross the continent from South to North'

Lower 'They perished on the return journey at Coopers Creek, Central Australia. June 1861'
