RAYMOND M. HOOD'S USE OF BLACK BRICK, TRIMMED WITH GOLDEN COLORED STONE, IN THE DESIGN OF THIS BUILDING, IS AN EARLY INSTANCE OF VIVID COLORATION ON THE SURFACE OF A SKYSCRAPER.
